Iliihia, (ee lee HEE ah) was born and raised in the state of Hawaii.
Her name means “stricken with awe” in Hawaiian. She is a true keiki
o ka aina, (child of the land). From an early age, she was taught
the importance of the spirit of Aloha. As an adult, she has combined
her love for photography and nature with her equal desire to
preserve and share the spirit of Aloha. This unique marriage between
these three passions has been a tremendous asset in helping to
spread the spirit of aloha throughout the world. Works from her
expanding portfolio include commissions from the America’s, Asia,
and Europe; some which have been featured on websites and other
publications. Ilihia hopes her work stirs a sense of Aloha for
nature and life in everyone who views her photographs. In her spare
time, she maintains a supportive relationship with NOAA by
volunteering with its Humpback whale counts, and Monk Seal watches.
Today, Ilihia is comprised of a collaborative of intuitive artists. |
